Publication Process
1. Editorial Screening
The editorial board initially reviews all submissions for relevance, clarity, and thematic fit.
2. Double-Blind Peer Review
Submissions passing the first round are evaluated by two peer reviewers. Reviewers assess the work’s:
- Originality and research quality
- Interdisciplinary engagement
- Literary or theoretical sophistication
- Writing clarity and coherence
3. Revisions
Authors may be asked to revise based on reviewer comments. We encourage a dialogic process between author and editor to elevate each piece.
4. Final Decision
Accepted papers are finalized for formatting and layout, then queued for the next available issue.
5. Publication
Articles are published open access, with each issue digitally archived and shared across research databases and Edukar’s networks.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
Supporting Open Knowledge
To maintain our commitment to open access and editorial excellence, we charge a modest Article Processing Charge (APC): PhP 1,500 for locals and USD 40 for international.
- Waiver Options: Available upon request, especially for authors from underfunded institutions or developing regions
These fees cover editorial management, peer review, digital publishing, and indexing.
